Skare Meat Packers
SKARE is a modern meat processing company with headquarters in
Vejen, Denmark. SKARE was founded 13th of March 1972 and today the
SKARE group counts 650 employees.
High and uniform quality has always been the primary basis for
SKARE, which exclusively concern themselves with cutting and
refinement of exquisite beef and calf meat. The most exclusive cuts
are sold to hotels, restaurants and catering companies but also to
retail chains, supermarkets and butchers.
SKARE turns over around 1.7 billion DKK a year. A percentage of
about 70 is exported to other European contries, the far and the
middle east. SKARE has divisions and abattoirs in a number of other
European contries. The group comprehends four divisions in Spain,
one division in France, an abattoir in Germany and Vejle
Eksportslagteri and SKARE FOOD, Christiansfeld in Denmark. The
latest division is SKARE Scandinavia with sales office in
Sweden.
